As the age-old issue of climate dance slowly but surely dawns on Egypt and the Middle East, the value of sustainable business models and eco-friendly companies has never been more apparent. Many businesses and startups across Egypt have begun to adopt strong sustainability schemes and even targeted the issue head-on, with three of those companies have been recognised by Forbes Middle East as among the top 10 sustainable companies in the region.
The youngest of the bunch, Cairo Solar has only been around since 2014, and is a solar engineering, procurement, construction and financing company that helps minimise the cost of solar system installments. Since its founding, it has contributed to the installation of over 55 solar projects.
